What Does Technical Inspection Mean?

A technical inspection is used to verify compliance with technical specifications. The inspection may be conducted visually or specific instrumentation may be required in order to determine whether Workplace safety officials are required by regulations to inspect equipment within specific schedules to ensure that workplace safety is optimised.

These inspections range from the simple, visual inspection of ladders to ensure that there are no visible signs of wear, to schedules and checklists aimed at ensuring that more complex equipment like boilers or forklifts are in good working order.
